I’m Jeremy Criddle. I write the ADHD Hunter and ADHD Runner book series, and between writing, running, and time in the field, I go through a lot of audiobooks — most of it during long runs or hunts where a phone in a pocket and a decent pair of headphones is the whole setup.
AgentClaw started from a narrow, specific problem: most “best headphones” advice is written for music listening, and it doesn’t actually apply to eight hours of narration. I got tired of sorting through review sites that never made that distinction, so I built this one around the two things I actually use — headphones that hold up for long-form listening, and GraphicAudio’s full-cast productions, which I think are genuinely underrated for the right kind of book.
How I Review
I’m not an audio engineer, and I don’t claim to be. What I do is real research: manufacturer specs, verified owner reviews, and direct comparison against the criteria that actually matter for spoken word — not the bass-and-soundstage criteria that dominate music-focused reviews. Where a product has a real limitation, I say so plainly. The Marshall Headphones Review page, for example, states directly that the Major V has no active noise cancelling — that’s not a footnote, it’s something you should know before you buy.
